Little did Brian Oster know that less than five years after joining a restructured OC Imageworks (now OC Creative), he would purchase the creative agency. But that was the case for Oster, Creative Director and newly minted President as of January 2, 2016.
The team has high hopes and aspirations under his new leadership, including the serious possibility of a Rockford, IL office. Already utilizing a co-working space in Geneva to meet with their growing number of clients, Brian reminds them that it is not about growing for the sake of profit or to further OC’s brand recognition but about sharing our talents with others.
“This is the best and most creative team I’ve ever had the privilege to work with in all my in-house and agency experience. Their talents have already grown exponentially and I can see even more hidden inside,” says Brian.
With great ability and potential for success, each member of the team says they are proud to be based in DeKalb. “We got involved with the #ProudlyDeKalb video productions and didn’t immediately realize what an impact our work would have in the community. When we found out that these had been seen by thousands of people and how they were part of the America’s Best Communities grant, we were inspired and humbled at the same time,” explained Dan Kapper, OC’s Video Director.
Some of the team’s favorite and most creative projects made were done for other “Made in DeKalb” clients like Brad Manning Ford, Family Service Agency, the DeKalb County Community Foundation, and the DeKalb County Farm Bureau.
OC Creative influences audiences using creative video and design with an award-winning team of innovative leaders who desire to craft the most effective message for their clients.
“Helping create a brand and develop consistent new materials for locally owned businesses like Lehan Drugs and SundogIT, that reach beyond our city and county, is remarkable. Our clients truly trust us and give us creative license for their video and design projects,” stated Art Director, Erin Nolan.
Rest assured that no matter where they stretch beyond their home city, OC will always be creative in their work, and they will always be #ProudlyDeKalb.
