We caught up with Eve Grunauer a while back in preparation for this report, and, per usual, she was so bubbly and enthusiastic that we wanted her back immediately. But she’s off doing awesome things in video production, which we’re thrilled about!
Eve joined the OC team in the summer of 2019 as a video production intern, but like all our interns, we let her decide what else she wanted to do. She and our other intern at the time, Elsye, were tasked with taking individual and team photos for a youth baseball league we were working with, as they both wanted some experience behind a camera.
“It was my most memorable time. We had so much fun trying to get the little kids to pose and look at the camera,” she shares. “Also, there was a bit of downtime in between teams where we got to goof off and really become friends that would later hang out outside of work. She’s still one of my best friends today!”
Her time in school at NIU taught her Final Cut Pro, and her internship at OC gave her time to work with Adobe Premier, which she uses every day at work. That experience was one of the major reasons she landed a job so quickly after moving to Los Angeles.
Oh, did we not mention she moved to LA? She did! And she’s working for a television production company that creates shows for networks like TLC, the Food Network, HGTV, and more. She works as a post production coordinator, and she edits the social media videos for a Food Network Instagram for Girl Meets Farm.
“At OC I was often tasked with managing multiple projects simultaneously, which required meticulous planning and meeting tight deadlines,” Eve explains. “This experience has proven invaluable in my post-internship life, as I’ve been able to seamlessly juggle tasks in my current role, ensuring efficient project delivery.”
When she’s not doing amazing work for huge brands, she’s spending time with her boyfriend and baking. She even got a whisk tattoo! “It’s partly because I love to bake and partly because sometimes in life you have to take a whisk,” she laughs. “I’m enjoying the path that I’m on and looking forward to new opportunities in the future.”
If our time with Eve is any indication, she’s going to be doing more amazing things in her work and in her personal life in that future. We’re excited every time we hear from her, and we look forward to her success as much as our own. Thanks for catching up, Eve!
