Coming in to the same room five days a week and staying for hours can blind you to the potential that your space might have. Take the time to look around. Like, right now. We’ll wait.
Did you notice anything you hadn’t noticed before? How much of what was around you have you not given a second look at in days, weeks, months, even years? Now think about clients who come into that space. They might be just as blinded by familiarity as you are. Wouldn’t it be better for everyone if you had a dynamic, beautiful, custom, wall installation to honor your history, your financial supporters, or even your products?
We recently put together a display wall for the DeKalb County Farm Bureau called “Fields of Giving,” where they could honor their donors and their history. It was constructed of different woods and metals, with custom, hand-drawn line art of a farm that was recreated from a historic photo. Donors can get their names engraved on seeds, which are then “planted” on the wall for posterity. It was a great collaborative project, and we are all very proud of the results. It now hangs in their lobby, catching the attention of anyone who walks in, and it continues to change and grow with their expanding donor base.
This isn’t to toot our own horn, even if we are proud of all the work that went into it. It’s really just to say that the possibilities for your space are basically endless. As we’ve said before, everything depends on your purpose. We’ve done display walls featuring historic photographs on a giant timeline complete with the story of a company’s birth, walls in glass and plastic, walls featuring train tracks and ticket windows, and many more. All of these installations started with a simple idea and a desire to give clients something that deserved their attention.
You’ve got the space. We bring the creativity.
