Adding to the trophy case that we don’t really show off in the office, it was outstanding news to hear that we received three AVA Digital Awards for our creative work completed in 2016. We’re always trying to “1-up” ourselves with our next project, however, we did stop to appreciate this pat-on-the-back recognition. The AVAs are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. That means an international organization of several thousand marketing, communication, and advertising professionals think we do some awesome work here. So as OC grows and repeatedly wins in underdog fights (meaning we are the smaller, newer guys on the block), we humbly receive these awards not just as the “I’m proud of you son” from a parent, but more like our mentor saying, “You’ve got some real potential kid. Keep it up!”
